I added a button on the top menu that should take you to the front website page, for those of you that needed or wanted it.  Very easy...its says  Website. ;D

Please test it and let me know if this fits the bill.

Lotta self-help tapes out there. Got one called "How to Handle Disappointment." I got it home and the box was empty.

Ya but ... we still have not named the windows and Iframes properly yet .. so it don't work right yet :) .. but I'm sure it will :)

Right now if you are viewing the forums from INSIDE the wrapper as I am .. and you use the button.. you get frame within frame :)

If viewing from outside the main site .. i.e. view forums from bookmark or new window .. it does bring up the main site again .. but if you had the main site up already .. you now have a second window with the main site.

I'm not complaining at all. just pointing it out .. and if that is the way it is to work .. I can deal with it :)

The button was mainly for those who prefered the forums in a new window for the wider look and feel.

If you are using the smaller iframe look then you actuaaly have 2 buttons to take you to the frontpage.

USAAC Home  button which will break you out of the frame
Website button that will keep you in the frame.

I simply make comment on how it is working.. for myself .. I can deal with it.

Frankly I'm happy people are working.. and working nicely and reacting to concerns and comments on the website.. forums .. and USAAC in total.

I for one.. understand fully.. it takes time to get it perfect.

Thank you all for the jobs you are doing and what you contribute. I am all smiles ear to ear at the effort and team work being shown.

I guess i am a little different, if something isn't right. I complain about it until it's right. I would never say.... "I can deal with it", then nothing would get fix. And again like i said in my other thread I started a few days ago. Why would anyone want to view forums inside a box or Iframe ? The viewing area of the forum so much smaller. Sure it looks pretty, but I rather have a forum I can see in full view instead looking into a small box to view the forum. What about the people that visit USA Air Attack site for the first time ? Soon as they click on the button to come into the forum from the main home page of the site. First thing they going to see if a forum inside a box. Much smaller viewing area. And on another note, I notice a board member added a poll to my post... and so far only 1 person for it, and 5 against it. Its pretty much common sense. That would be like someone covering up your car windshield and leaving you with only 1 foot by 1 foot viewing area to look out you windshield, while your driving.
thanks,
Nitro

Nitro lets be real here m8, you wanted the site away from the Tides of War site and you wanted banners and ads gone, that is what you have now.  You are not the only one that reads and visits these forums, they have taken all of yours and others opinions and suggestions and comments and have done the best they can to satisfy everyone, they are still working on things.  Be nicer with your comments a bit more and less critical posts about all you hate about the site.  I agree you do make some very good concerns and comments, but remember this site is for everyone.

A very old Wise Man had said once,

Go Slow, Make it Grow......

Not that I'm defending Nitro but sometimes typing can cause confusion not like talking straight on with someone.

New site New beginning.

Have some mercy on those working behind the scenes and all, almost all, will come to fruitation.

Remember,

Go Slow, Let It Grow
