This is where we were before m8. Noone stops you from leaving the U.S. and living on the sunny side of life. You wouldn´t lose your demands, would you ? You go there, where the ´aliens´come from and  are ´king´ with what you have. Wink

It´s really so laughable.

It´s comparable to when Hitler would be still alive in the 90ies and would fingerpoint at Saddam condemn him for mass-murdering the kurds.

Quote
[...]in a speech that was short on ideas but big on enthusiasm[...]

Which is somehow characteristic for the speeches of extreme right wing politicians in the U.S.

Quote
Her audience waved flags and erupted in cheers during multiple standing ovations...

You americans really like that, don´t you ? smile

Quote
[...]motivated by anger over the growth of government, budget-busting spending[...]

Really a big ´rofl´.  She (they) of all people.....

This movement is a ´shame´for the U.S. really.

Seig Heil American style bro!

It is ´Sieg´ instead of ´Seig´ but yes, this is what I see coming for nearly a decade already.

This is so sick, I can´t tell.

Are you starting to see why Baja is appealing?

Of course, I can. But it can´t be the solution. Do you guys really want to leave your country to these (right-wing) - extremists ? This is what happened in Germany 80 years ago, with many scared people leaving the country and others closing their eyes, ears and mouth´.

Well Kai the pendlum swing like the Pendlum do!
We go right then we go left, thats the nature of US politics!
As far as me leaving its a matter of economics, not politics, when I do retire for good I want to live in paradise, not in semi poverty, but that is the nature of things here.

Normally I really wouldn´t care. After all I´m not an US-citizen. But as I said already, Germany seems to be a ´mirror´ of the US. Or with other words: the US are trendsetting in many ways to Germany.

I only need to have a look at the US and I can nearly forecast what will happen here within the next 18 month.

Of course, some things are still a big ´NO GO´ here but especially when it comes to politicians behaviors, it´s getting really impertinent and naughty and it seems it degenerates to a big ´show´here as well.

Not that we haven´t taken the pi$$ before but that obviously ? I really want to stop my country and government to copy everything, coming from the US. I really don´t need it, nor anyone else.

Yes. why would you want it ? Personally there is no advantage for you, whether we do or don´t.

LoL, I thought already to enter politics but wouldn´t know which party to join. Perhaps I should form my own party ?  biggrin

No way m8. I´m way to honest for such dirty business, for not to say a total greenhorn. Wink

lol lol lol Hell Kai they are all total green horns! I do believe that indy's have a better chance there than they do here!
If you do decide to run start small and work your way up and make waves all the way!
If you do chose a party, pick one closest to your beliefs.
You need a campaign manager let me know bro!

There ya go Kia,

You just put yourself in a party11 Maybe not one that is recognized as a front running party but I bet many many people would love for someone like yourself to try to step down and dig in the dirt while staying pristine and clean and help your country and possibly others!!

John and I promise to vote for you absent tee style!!!

As for my client living in Bali, Last time I talked about it, he was actually living on $1500 a month. Now what you do not know is what I meant by living like a King. I cannot nor will not go into detail, but it is amazing what you can get for next to nothing there. Think of a man's fantasy of living high on the hog and all around you totally willing to serve you in any capacity at any time for pennies..... I would like to see how Baja is too!!!

Well, since I was a seaman for nearly a decade, I know many places like Bali or Baja. I´m not sure if I would like to live there.

But at times I feel some kind of wanderlust/ itchy feet and wish I would be still at sea, arriving in the most different countries, meeting the most different cultures and leaving them again. Only to see and learn how others live and enjoying their life style for some time.....(I was way too young back in the 80ies)

Even when I feel home all over the world, at the end of the day home is where once our cradle stood.....well, you know what I mean.

@John: I knew you would say that. And I agree to all points. Wink

@Vipor: thanks for your support  biggrin  but I think this is not going to happen. Maybe in a couple years but not as long I have to feed a family, with one kid left in school.
