i have a question about the 2 Minutes Engage Rule.
ok how do i explain this lol. after 2 minute engage is called
& everyone engages. is the 2 minute rule still in effect after 1st
engagment ? the reason i ask is this example: ok lets say
FD only has 1 pilot standing after engaging &  ends up in a
4 vs 1 situation, does this pilot have the time to run, grab do
what ever it takes to try & gain the advantage ? this may take
longer then 2 minutes before this pilot can engage again.

or is it engage at 2 minutes then after it can take as long as it takes ?

From what I understand that pilot has to engage within 2 minutes, so Yes the rule is still in effect throughout the game.  Cool

 HUBBA HUBBA !

WE WENT OVER THIS FOR HOURS THE OTHER NIGHT.
in the situation you describe the one pilot has 2 minutes of time to run,
Then he must engage the enemy,

This can be roping  ( draining the enemies speed ) or attacking,
but he must stop running for a minute and turn to fight.

after an engagement he has another 2 minutes to run.
The engage command falls on the ref.
So far this hasn't been a problem.

2 min engage time is so we dont have 1 pilot running for 10 min to try to gain an advantage while the rest of wait on base...

It can be a tough call but as I said so far no problems...
in a 1 to four situation the other team will most likely catch him..

I hope this clears up you question..

Yes pop........that's the way I reffered the match Thorn vs Tigers.
Using a chronograph and calling to engage after 2 mins.......after two more mins. calling again if some planes were flying alone.....and so at 6 mins.
It worked fine.

  1. Does the "Engage Command" mean all pilots must be engaging some one at the end of 2 minutes?

  Just wondering?  confused

I think if u don't do it Bonz a team could make engage 1 or 2 pilots after the 1st 2 mins and then go back, climb and hide till they get ready to finish the last pilot from the other team (certainly wounded).
