Last thing i read about the LTS testing.  It was only open to the US squads.  So yes i missed it...

I raised a couple of questions, which only Sky posted to on a respectful manner.  I thought c/o x/o comments/questions were welcome.  Sky took the playoff situation on board..  But others are open to jump on the bandwagon.

@ Sky.  Time will be fine if at UK times, you can probably make the US vs US games a later time.  And again, thanks for replying to the question!

why should a tag sign matter in league play?  One team is playing the other team, correct?  All you need to know is who you are playing against, and that is all that matters.  You are playing against a Team not an individual player, and the rule about tag signs that show who each player is, is really only a way to make the league matches that should be Team vs Team an individual league about who is who and who can we hunt?

I think there is way too much politics and way too less fun, sportsmanship, and skill that is involved in these leagues.  :-X

Ok, My fault, what is the difference still in WS_Madman or WS_Sal, if you guys use the right tactics and fly as a team winning shouldn't be a problem so tags shouldn't mean anything. Also that comment by no one wants to fly KOTS, then why do I have 6 squads that want to fly in it? KOTS just hasn't gotten started yet m8.

  I do appreciate all comments and concerns, I really do want this to be a fun league to fly in.

Warrior I believe the main point of the tags is that an "identifying" tag is clearly visible.
take my name for instance..

USHA_Inferno and USHA_Q3

since I am listed on the clp all can find out easily that I am Q3.

If I where to try to change my tag to HELLSANGELS_Q3 the identifying part of the tag (Q3) is not visible due to too many characters.

I wouldnt mind either way what tags where used. as long as the opponent is all the same color I dont mind :p

Some of the other posts in here would be funny if they weren't so tragic. Folks wonder why it is difficult to find volunteers prepared to give their time to the community.  Surely the league manager deserved a great deal of praise for the work he put into this LTS project. Oh, I'm sure he would have welcomed suggestions but some don't seem to know how to submit suggestions without making it sound like a confrontation.

The amusing thing is that, often, the one to start the flaming, ends up complaining about the flaming. Oh well, human nature is a wonderful thing. It is endlessly entertaining.

I'm sure sky would appreciate a return to the topic subject and here I am being guilty of wandering off topic.

Anyway I agree with Fern. Who cares what you all call yourselves as long as we can distinguish an enemy from a friend. Let's have fun.

OK Tigers will be in, but I still can't see the point is us having to change tags as there's been nothing wrong with ours for the past 10 yrs...

it's easy to say short tags, when the squads involved are TS BBC BSS UHSA , max of 4 it's still condfusing though reading through this thread exactly what is or what isn't allowed.. can someone give me an example of what would be suitable for [THE_FLYING_TIGERS]G9_Captain_Nemo

Tag suggestion.. maybe...  TIGER_Nemo, TIGS_NEMO, TIGERS_NEMO  I would say that any of these are acceptable.. :)
