Rest in Peace my friend.
As I wrote already on the UKAAC forums:
AirAttack lost another real Gentleman.
My heartfelt condolences to his family and all the friends who will miss him - and that will be a great number of people, I am sure!
I know I will. :(

This is truly sad news. John was a a really good guy and I'll miss hearing his voice and flying with him in AA.  He and Skydancer helped me learn some of the basics of the game.

John will truly be missed by all.

Blue Skies Marine,

Marine you stood strong

You were bold
You made us laugh
You calmed us down when we were told
You always made a decision right
You never held a grudge of grime
You never gave up the will to fight
You will be in our hearts till the end of time

You stood strong Marine

I am for one going to missed John. We spent many hours on team speak while playing air attack.  :'(  He first told me couple of years back he been having health problems. Just wish there were something I could have done for him. I am going to missed him greatly.

I feel sorry for him, AA lost a very good and experienced pilot and also a decent personality. I didn't have the chance to know him very well but i think i talked to him in game once or so before.

I will do my best to be there on the memorial fly.

Mercy and Blessings Be upon his soul.

Rest in Peace Marine...

Sad news. Deepest sympathies to Marines family and to USHA

Blue skies

p.s.  I was listening to a certain artist when I read of Marine passing away. I thought I would share the lyrics to one tune which i thought was very touching.

I wish I was in heaven high,
For night and day I just wait and cry,
And from my arms he flew one night,
To where I cannot find.

I wish I had the wings to fly,
For in this world he left no sign,
But maybe someday he'll bring me back,
To where I cannot find.

Had I the heart to tell him then,
He might have stayed until the end,
But maybe someday we'll meet again,
In where I cannot find.

I just came back online after a severe bout with depression for a back injury that has kept me in and out of surgery and a burnt motherboard to find this horrible news, it seems like only a few days ago john was trying to help me with my problems and all of the sudden it seems as though it were many years ago.
I met John almost 15 years ago when we started flying on the ZONE about the same time.
We could allways find something to laugh about while we were tryin our best to down eachother or someone else.
John I am sure that your are trodding on Golden streets and I am sure that we shall see you again, but because I am selfish I shall be missing you until then.
BLUE SKIES FROM NOW ON !!!
