His bark is worse than his bite you know, lol. It really is OK to post in here,I'm not trying to steal the whole show m8s,lol. I miss Joker's interesting war stories he used to post and wait to see what hidden talent Jackal may have, hell just put in a pic of Debby in each post Jackal and you'll be all good, lol. It helps to watch the military channel for a few hours before you write your report so you can get some good ideas, lol. ihih

Are you saying that the ban on fun has finally been lifted?
I won't believe it till the moderator says so.

Thanks for pointing that out. Moved to Pilots Lounge. If there had been at least a 'mention' of a fun event, then maybe the topic could be in the Fun Event forum .. otherwise it goes in the Pilots Lounge Forum. Tongue

....ahem~~ I do believe that, in his post, Bonz was referring to fun events

it has been almost 2 months since anyone besides me has posted in here (meaning the fun event forum). Is there anyone still reading these?  I miss Joker's interesting war stories he used to post(which were reports on fun events).   It helps to watch the military channel for a few hours before you write your report(meaning reports on fun events) so you can get some good ideas

Then Jackal stated that he would try to post reports on future Monday night fun events.

shrapnel asked if were now once again allowed to have fun.

Following that, Vipor and TBar posted off topic and the latter then had the nerve to erronously move the topic.   biggrin

To Quick to move the topic eh Shrappy. ok, you might be right .. but we had to make Vipor happy about something albeit he pointed out the wrong forum also and mislead me (bad boy).

This forum (Gen AA) is really the place for "open type discussions" as opposed to "Fun Events" which should be topic specific to "Fun Events".  In any event, the hidden agenda was to get topic response etc.. I think it has done that.

Have fun... ya'll :)

Ya.. moved again to keep you guessing...

 biggrin Thanks
Anyway folks like Bonz and I feel that games are all about having fun even if there has to be serious organization behind the fun vehicle.

All due respect to those serious minded people who take the time and trouble to organize the events so that we whimsical and, often, irreverent folk can enjoy our little bit of humor.  Cool

I am not sure how my question as to where this post/thread should be could be off topic as it refers to the topic/thread by the original poster itself. confused

Also, I was just asking if it should be in the pilot lounge, not saying or suggesting that it should be moved.

But I see that I would have been better off not replying at all and if every poster who ventures out here to post gets this type of response, then it may well be another two months before someone other than the regulars post in here again.

Wow, this has been better than flying in a fun event. (I mention fun event to make sure my post IS NOT off topic. In fact, it refers directly to the original post and subsequent posts so I for the life of my see no way that it could be deemed off topic.)

Hi, Vip  biggrin

The operative word is fun. That's what Bonz and I are trying to have and I know you're a fun guy. The remark about "off topic" was just banter aimed at pointing out the posts were in the proper context and were, therefore, on topic.

But I reiterate, we're trying to bring some interest back and have some fun and neither I nor anyone else was trying to offend you. So, please, join us in having fun.  biggrin
