lol m8,I have XP and Win 7. As for browsers, they all have their problem areas, right now Win 7 chooses to use IE.  When I change it,the next time I start up it goes back to IE. Yes I am doing it in Internet Options and applying it. But I'm working on that, lol,Win 95 was so much easier, lol, but so was driving a horse and buggy.

Can't help but feel I'm kinda special. Never seem to have the problems the rest of you have. IE works fine, Teamspeak works fine, AA works fine and no matter what operating system I use and how hard I try I don't seem to be able to break anything. Guess I need to be more technologically adventurous and screw things up so's I can join the fun.

Anyhow's having a meeting sounds like a good idea. There's something I wanna bitch about; if I could only remember what the heck it was.  confused

Start Firefox...

Click tools/options/advanced/general tab/check "always check to see if Firefox is the default browser".

There is also a help forum on this board, and on the CLP, for those in need. Wink

Lotta self-help tapes out there. Got one called "How to Handle Disappointment." I got it home and the box was empty.

Site has been updated

What site was updated?

Agenda Submission: Review the USAAC Site process and updates requested. Problems, fixes, resolves, solutions

There are some problems we need to work out, including some understandings. This site needs a little bit of house cleaning and some new content. The work is done, we just need to find time to co-ordinate the installation. It is minimal work, but does need co-ordination between workers. TS is confusing to many, its mainly the fault of USAAC. We can correct this.  There is content missing and/or needs to be replaced on several pages within the site. If I and FireStorm can get some hands on time together, we can probably have most all problems resolved. Then there is preference of how to display info which should be reduced to simple choices at meeting time.

Site:
> Front Page - Wrong TS listed. That is not the USAAC TS as of this post date/time
> Front Page - Removal of un-needed, update with all current info, fresh content.

Forums:
> Forums not displaying correctly within the site. Outside view is fine. (remove left blank column)

RSS
> Review. Front page as well as what is listed CLP Forums

TS3 - Problem/Solutions
> Get our information correct so there is no confusion.
> Propose establishment of a TS Manager ( Qualified with proper experience ).
> Team Speak - Get the information for USAAC TS3 more prominent and/or fix our current information display. Applies to all pages on the site that work with TS3 topics/DL/How To/ etc.

I recommend TBar as the only qualified candidate. While we're at it we might as well recognize all of his unique qualifications and make him Administrator and Web Manager. Did I forget anything? Oh yes, why not League Manager also. In fact the more I think about it we could save a lot of time and trouble by just moving the whole thing back to TOW. At that point we could all concentrate our efforts on the one remaining problem; that of replacing the current pesky incumbent of the US Sysop Manager position with TBar. Then we could all be assured of a perfectly run organization with no possibility of rules or protocols being broken. Think about it folks; with a few strokes of the pen we could achieve the ultimate goal of a perfect organization.

As always guys, don't take me too seriously.  biggrinjester

Just one serious thought though: Since there seems to be a fully operational TeamSpeak set up on the CLP server do we still need to have a separate USAAC TeamSpeak? Isn't this duplication causing the confusion?

It gives me a chuckle to read this thread and to remember the last month or more about me telling people there was a problem with the teamspeak and the answers I heard from all was "There is no problem with teamspeak" "It works fine for me".
Ha,Ha,Ha, never the less it is now being worked on but there is another problem that you might not be aware of or might have to hear from someone else first in order to get it fixed. While in the CLP teamspeak,(no idea if it is the us or uk ts,very confusing to most),if you enter in the lobby and others are in one of the rooms you can not see them, making you think no one is in TS so you leave and go to one of the other many TS's. I know it works fine for you but it does NOT work fine for a good deal of the public. Some can see who is in the other rooms but others can not. This might be a browser problem and that not all pc users have a collection of browsers installed and might be stuck using IE.
I think this would be considered to still be On Topic,if not the FM will take appropriate action. Cool
