Kid is the Administrator and the last word on USAAC affairs. He has clearly stated the positon:

After reviewing the posts by Shrap and trying to remember what transpired,I am pretty sure that AA was voted in before Adam took over. They then changed all the officers and sort of faded for awhile and were removed from the USAAC member list.If my memory serves me right,Adam asked to join when he was CO and then decided not too after the agenda was posted.I believe the reason was that most of his pilots at that time were UK based and the time difference was the issue. So he withdrew his request.

Therefore AA is not currently a USAAC squad.

Kid also said:
I for one don't want to keep anyone from from having some league fun if they can.

Go for it AA squad. And good luck.

So I repeat:

So in summation, Luke: [and this has been the position all along despite all the words that have been posted]

You and your guys are free to join Ravens or any  other squad while still being members of Air Assassins.

If you don't want to have dual membership with Ravens or any other squad you and your guys can simply apply to be guest pilots with any squad participating in 4 squad.

Well Tulla it certainy highlights the fact that, far from making things easier, the so called USAAC charter only serves to complicate and confuse. However I would prefer to discuss that in a separate topic. This topic badly needed someone to moderate it and sort out the wheat from the chaff but that sort of moderation no longer exists apparently. Hence, instead of quickly clarifying the situation for Luke it resulted in total chaos.

I strongly believe that this topic should now be closed as, believe it or not, Luke finally has the answer to his original question. Further discussion on the Charter should be elsewhere.

I agree shrapnel. Tbar is the forum manager and vice presdident of tow so when he said AA are in USAAC I took his word. It then created a whole load of people directing me to different minutes of meetings etc etc. If I understand correctly Air Assassins are not a member of USAAC

Kid answered you first that AA was, he is the President and I restated his ruling.
Kid has sense done more research and finds that tech. AA is NOT currently a member of the USAAC.

AA is currently NOT a member of the USAAC. Word is good. Boo Boo came from up stairs. People do make errors from time to time.

All discussion you have concerning getting those pilots flying.. should be with squads that have needs.. directly. Get off these forums and keep it private. Members arn't commodities, you can just trade them to another team. So consider the pilots need to take the action desired. Advise them .. and let them do as they want. They know where home is when and if the time comes. Take care of the pilots first.

The discussion is fine, but let it be for squads in general and not AA as the center piece.

We all are human and make errors from time to time.

As I have been saying, get into a sqd to fly as a guest. Time a flying by...
Tonight would be a great time to fly in a practice 4sqd with Raven and USHA.

I have been guest piloting with Raven in this event. Would be nice to actually have enuf to do a 4sqd vs 2 sqd fun event.

Sort it out and get some tags ranked up.....

Good luck to all pilots!!!

The left hand is not talking to the right hand which is not connected to the middle man who has no idea where his feet are!
ok that must be me, the middle man who has no idea where his feet are!

@Shrappy
Should have trusted my instincts in the first place as rarely do I miss anything that important......apart from my anniversary that is  biggrin

I hope this silliness does not spill over into tonight, it is our practice time for the match sunday, not a fun event.

Sorry Luke, we dont delete topics and it really doesnt warrant being locked. Our policy on this differs slightly to that of the UK forums.  Cool
