And was just my suggestion to help get rid of the spamming so the automatic registration could maybe be turned on someday.

Just to inform you the registration has not been turned off. It requires Admin authorization before a membership is active. Daily we check the registrations for that day and can normally tell from the username and or email address if this is a spammer.   biggrin

Perhaps I will just continue to ignore all those who are intent on ignoring me and keep the forums alive all by myself. Maybe eventually a few others will get over what ails them and respond even if it's only to tell me to shut up and leave. I will ignore that also and continue to say what I feel like saying as long as I'm able to login. I used to suffer from paranoia but it was a fruitless impairment so I decided to ignore all those who were against me instead of getting worked up about it.

Brave or foolish words which I meant at the time I wrote them but I was wrong. My paranoia apparently still runs rampant and it is telling me that I really am not welcome here. I tried, but attempts on my part to open debate on anything have failed to ignite any interest. Suggestions for consideration have fallen on deaf ears.

I have come to realize that I am doing more harm than good. My presence, far from helping a forum revival is hastening its end. I have been acquainted with certain rumors and tried to shrug them off but it is the whispered slander which never takes a tangible form, and therefore can never be contradicted, that eventually wears one down. I must confess myself worn down. So, with some sadness I must accept the inevitable and join that list of those who were but no longer are here. I close this topic that I started by promising no more "bunk...blah, blah, blah."

I do not know about past issues but i do believe Aegle does and can continue to contribute.Feathers getting ruffled on occasion is a fact of life and it would be foolish to think that will not happen here.At this point nothing in my mind has been dismissed or considered bunk.

I agree with Kujo on this one Aegle.
Also the reason you gave for leaving is similar to what others have used in the past, some several times or they get mad at what others say and leave. Either way that is the true reason why the traffic here is so light now. People who always quit when the going gets tough are only showing their own weekness and also cause the forum harm in doing so.

I do not feel these forums are dead nor does it strike me Aegle has in any way harmed them. Some times getting things in perspective takes what feels like an eternity if ever. One has to get a realistic picture and work on that premise .It crosses my mind some one trained in marketing could give some solid advice.
At any rate i would politely ask any that do check out this forum to hang in there, contribute what amuses, what strikes a chord and yes if you cook and i really like it the recipe may show up here biggrin

I am ashamed for both of you. Grow the hell up.  mad5

What is this 1 upmanship ?? If my children ever did this they would have gotten a stern talking to, as a matter of fact now that they are grown women i can guarantee you they would be entirely un- impressed with it. What ever is going on, kindly get a grip plz.
I had asked Aegle back because i felt she was an intelligent member who could contribute, same as you.I would like to hear positive things or at least constructive criticism not childish rants.

No one fooled here, those that own their insecurities are the only ones that can deal with them.

So you are saying that people getting pissed off at one thing or another and quitting this forum is not hurting this forum?  That is not the way I see it.
