One Item I would like to request is a change and suggestions for replacing the title "Board of Directors" with a more relaxed friendly title.

Since the BoD is really made up of the voices of each squad then perhaps a name as "Voice of members" or  "Squad Leaders" or "USAAC Staff Leaders" might sound a little more correct.

Thanks

I have a suggestion to make the "agenda recommendations" more easily accessible or recognizable to people who may not know where they are hidden in the forums and would like to communicate with the USAAC. Right now to make a reccomendation or request for the "organization' to consider is under the "USAAC STAFF" category and even though the general have access to it, may not now its there. Also the Hall of records which is accesible to all is in the "USAAC staff" category and might be better served under a different category.

Suggestion tools and forums should be easily identifiable for less advanced users to find.

Possible solution...

Move ""Hall of Records" out of USAAC Staff category and into general category, and then add in the description of forum the word suggestions or agenda requests to help identify the place to discuss items.

Even though it says child boards and identifies agenda reccomendations it looks kinda strange or out of place..

Good ideas, Fern but, with regard to the second suggestion, I don't think there is anything to prevent our Forum Manager from making these sort of changes if he thinks they have merit. It is well within his purview to re-arrange the forums to meet popular demand. This is a public forum and there is also nothing to prevent any of the members from making suggestions...their participation should be welcomed.
Perhaps we can get together with the FM and discuss beneficial changes to the format.

I also agree that the title "Board of Directors" is much too formal. Instead of them being seen as a management body they should simply be seen for what they are...Squad Representatives..or Squad Reps for short.
USAAC's daily affairs should be run by appointed staff who, of course, should listen to suggestions from "Squad Reps" and other members of the community but should not be micro managed through "Board" meetings.
Forgive me if I discuss agenda items in advance of meetings but it is not practical for me to make my views known at these meetings.

I totally agree with you Fern...lets get away from the stuffy corporation titles that really mean very little and come down to earth with more friendly titles.

I like "Squad Managers" or "Squad Executives" as titles for the BoD squad voices.

We could also look at changing the Director to a more pleasing title like "USAAC Manager" "USAAC Staff Manager" or something similar, especially when we already have titles like "Forum Manager, League Manager and Events Manager.

Lets build a more approachable team of staff member titles by using titles that the average person recognizes, remembering that this is a game and we are not building an empire......just a great community.
