View from the far Side :

Lets not forget that besides using this feature, Thorn is an exceptional team, has tons of talent and experience and also have flown with a great deal of discipline at the times I have had a chance to notice in the matches where the use of this feature wouldnt be a consideration. Some of the best players in the game are long time Thorn. lets not forget they can kick some ARSE at any given moment on any team if all their Vets show up at once.

yes it is unfair in my opinion but not a felony.

Resolution?

I suggest that Thorn replay every round that they've won. And with as many of the original players of each match. That gives everybody a chance at having the fair enviornment and resolution to those who think that Thorn cant perform without this tool and that the outcome of their performance was grossly enhanced by its use.. I would like that resolution if I where on the losing side of a Thorn match myself.

Why not play on?

They found and used a tool. Let them make pennance.

As some of you know and some not UK has a thread on this topic on there site, now the thread is locked, after reading I had one more thing to say so I started part 2 over there but I will post it here. In order to catch the flavor of what I speak of you have to go to their site and read why I just responded with this, might be in order with Inferno's post above.

Just finished reading what I had not and just want to put my last 2 cents worth, since I was the one that went public with this and now considered a rebel.

Whomever thinks it does not make a significant difference is sadly mistaken.

Thorn has good pilots I will not deny this but most of you did not follow the KTF league that just finished for this year.

The basis of this game is to down your opponents flag as many times as you can to score points, killing anything but the flag gives you nothing, this tool was used in this League to determine the opponents flag status and if I'm not mistaking there were no UK teams participating.

Thorn did a great job placing 2nd behind Warships, question is, was it for real?

You whom think that exploiting this tool is no biggie should be on the receiving end and taste the frustration of wondering why you think your not getting better or better yet, see a mediocre team shoot to the top in several months were it took top teams years to develop into what they are today.

Have all of you that posted your opinion go to the link that I started in the first thread and read a little more then what's just in the 1st thread here, you will also find the post from Del. on what this tool has the potential of.

But you know what, it is no biggie now, those that used it and think it's no biggie is your problem. Now it can't be used and time tells all on who really needed to use it, time tells all.

Salute my friends from across the pond, see some of you in the upcoming 2 Squad with an even playing field, lol.....

Points well Taken Hawk

And lets not forget Thanking You Mr. Hawkster for sticking out your neck on this topic. Certainly you knew you where going to catch heat from some people on this and you threw your hat in anyway. Salute

You know I am a stickler for the facts and logic Wink

I do concur that it is an unfair advantage to use it whilest your opponents are unaware of the fact that you dont know they are using it.

And although I am one of the people who think its not a huge indiscretion I still would be peeved that it was used unknowingly against me. ( the unfair advantage portion). And I still wouldnt mind to see rematches at Thorns inconvenience and them taking a loss for the round if they didnt show or have enough players. It only seems like a fair resolution to the issue.

INTEGRITY!

There's no gray areas here.

This game is about Integrity and honor by teams and individuals at all times!

Are there other CODES out there being used?

Let's clean this up and get back into the game.
