I know that BSS as a squad has come under some criticism for not being able to field a full team for most of the 4 Squad matches. Some have felt that this spoils a league and that BSS should not have competed. Be that as it may I think the individual pilots, mostly youngsters, deserve a lot of praise for the way they conducted themselves during these matches. Despite being outnumbered and outflown they battled on without a whimper. They steadfastly followed the principle that, "It doesn't matter if you win or lose, it's how you play the game."

As a referee for several of the league matches I can say that these lads earned the respect of myself and many others. This is what Tank, the League Manager, had to say about BSS:

“Also have to say that BSS squad did earn my respect as well.
Having such difficulty's in the league including loosing some key members and than showing up in the last game with a full squad is something special, not to talk about the extreme good behavior from BSS pilots during the league.”

 thumbsup     Well done lads.   thumbsup

Well said Shrap.

The individual pilots of BSS deserve much praise and respect for keeping at it game after game even with only a few showing up for matches.

Keep up the good work!

Have to agree with you on that too Shrappy, they took some of the worst batterings in matches and came back the next week without so much as a wimper.

You didn't see the BSS boys complaining at all....they just played the game the way they knew best.

Well done BSS

I know first hand the HEART that BSS has. It has been that way from the time I was asked to join them until the time I left as Squad C/O.
I often wish that I had not departed from the squad, but I also knew that I had to do what I thought I had to be done.

BSS will be here for a long time. BSS will grow and become better each and every day.   CHEERS!! Mates!
