This of course, is a valid reason and we´ll have to respect that decision, even with a heavy heart.
I hope all works out well for shrapnel and he´ll find the time and calmness to be with us again, in a foreseeable future.
No matter what, I´ll miss him. In the meantime there is nothing but wishing him all the best. For him, his health and his family.

Well said Tulla, I couldn't put it any better.
Good luck Shrapnel. Please check in from time to time and let us know how you are doing.

Lotta self-help tapes out there. Got one called "How to Handle Disappointment." I got it home and the box was empty.

Damn,
I go away for a day and come back to this.
I haven't read the UK forum yet but will and see what transpired.
As this is probably water under the dam by now.I will tread lightly.
I'm very sad to lose such a well respected member of the USAAC staff that has contributed very much to keeping this board moderated the way he did.
I completely understand health and family issues and they must come first before any others.
My best regards to you and your family Shrapnel. Thanks for the time you gave while you were here.
I hope you enjoy the coming Holidays with your family and stay as healthy as you can.
Sincerely,
Kid

Shrappy, firstly let me thank you for being you. I too are saddened knowing that you will be leaving but can fully understand the reasons. Thanks Aegle for explaining the situation and putting us in the picture.
Please take care of yourself and your family as real life always comes before the cyberfamily.
Do what you need to do mate and you always know that there is a place in our hearts for you......you will be sadly missed.
yours truly your friend, Fire
