USA Accreditation Council Certification
Programs may be certified under three tiers based on depth, duration, and rigor:
Short, intensive sessions (4–15 hours) focused on practical skills or introductory knowledge.
Structured modules (16–60 hours) with assessments and clear learning outcomes.
Comprehensive curriculum (60+ hours) leading to demonstrable competencies or credentials.
1–3 years (depending on level and domain)
Requires updated materials and summary of learner outcomes
For non-compliance, quality breaches, or misrepresentation
• Clearly defined learning outcomes.
• Alignment with relevant competencies or standards.
• Duration and content appropriate for certification level
• Demonstrated subject-matter expertise.
• Teaching/training experience or relevant certifications.
• Up-to-date, accurate, and inclusive content.
• Evidence of learner engagement (e.g., interactive tools, case studies).
• Digital accessibility standards if online.
• Formative or summative assessments.
• Completion criteria and performance benchmarks.
• Feedback mechanisms (for both learners and instructors).
• Access to course materials and support.
• Issuance of a USAC-branded Certificate of Completion or Competency.
• Optional badge (digital credential) linked to learning outcomes.
Application Submission – Provider submits course outline, instructor CVs, assessments, and sample materials.
Review & Evaluation – USAC panel evaluates content, structure, and delivery method
Feedback & Revision – Optional step for quality improvements.
Certification Decision – Issued for 1 to 3 years based on review.
Post-Certification Audit – Random or scheduled check on course delivery and learner outcomes.
